He has been sorely missed. This also marks the first time that sipho has a release on DVD, with this album completing the package. All of the songs on this album except the bonus tracks, were made into videos and appear on the DVD, also called 'Gone But Not Forgotten'. I'm certain Sipho woud have loved to have seen this. Thank you Sipho for leaving us this musical legacy, and for the way you have touched, and will continue to touch, all of our lives through your songs. 'Ubuntu' means: be honest, be accommodative. Share with those in need and pass on what you know to the young. Save life at all cost, respect young and old. Criticise constructively, feed those who are hungry.

African Sunrise

Smooth jazz from the South African bass master, Sipho Gumede.

New Era

Contemporary bass player Sipho Gumede has been on the South African jazz scene for much time, always combining his traditional Zulu culture with modern contemporary jazz.

From Me To You

Mellow and smooth South African Jazz.

20 Years of Life: Live at the Bassline

An amazing live CD from one of South Africa's most beloved bass players.
Blues For My Mother

This album is the latest result of rich vein of music mined by the jazz fraternity of Durban that includes Darius Brubeck and Chris Merz of Counterculture.
